About Emily
I specialize in helping people navigate digestive conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), as well as prediabetes and diabetes. I also support patients using continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) to better understand their blood sugar patterns and make confident choices about their health.
Approach to care
My approach is personalized, collaborative, and realistic. I don’t believe in strict diets or quick fixes. Instead, I focus on small, sustainable changes that fit into your life. You’ll find that I create a supportive, judgment-free space where we can problem-solve together and celebrate progress along the way.
Your first session with Emily
In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know your health history, lifestyle, routines, and goals. Together, we’ll talk about what’s working, what feels challenging, and where you’d like to see change. You’ll leave with a clear plan that feels manageable and sets you up for success.
Education
I earned my Master’s degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University, where I also completed the Didactic Program in Dietetics. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking new recipes, gardening, and exploring the outdoors. I also love diving into a good book and spending time with my family.
