About Emily

Witnessing the profound impact that the Standard American Diet and sedentary lifestyles can have on both physical and mental health, I have become deeply committed to helping others reclaim their well-being. With over 10 years of experience as a Dietitian in long-term care, outpatient weight management, and private practice, I bring a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to helping clients achieve their health goals. Using a heart-centered approach, I work with clients to help them to restore their energy, improve their health, and develop confidence in their ability to make sustainable changes. Whether you are looking to prevent, manage, or reverse chronic conditions like Type 2 Diabetes or heart disease, enhance gut function, improve brain health, achieve a healthy weight, fuel your active lifestyle, or simply feel your best, you are in the right place. Together, we will create a tailored plan that honors your unique goals and values and empowers you to thrive at your own pace.

Approach to care

I believe true health extends beyond nutrition alone. That is why I encourage my clients to embrace a holistic approach to wellbeing—one that includes nourishing foods centered around plants, joyful movement, meaningful self-care, effective stress management, and more. Recognizing the importance of a well-rounded, evidence-based path to lasting wellness, I developed SPARC—a research-informed framework designed to help individuals not just survive, but truly thrive. Together, we will create a personalized plan that aligns with your unique goals, lifestyle, and values. My focus is on guiding you to cultivate simple, health-promoting habits that feel good and fit naturally into your life, focusing on consistency versus perfection to guide real and lasting change. With encouragement, structure, and support, I help you build a foundation for sustainable, empowered wellbeing.

Your first session with Emily

In our first session together, my main goal is to get to know you — your health history, your lifestyle, your eating habits, and your goals. Do not worry, there’s no judgment. I’m here to understand and provide support and guidance as we work together to help you achieve your health goals. We will also talk about any symptoms you have been experiencing and explore how food and other lifestyle factors might be playing a role. From there, we will start outlining a personalized plan. I will give you a few small, realistic changes you can start working on right away and we can discuss what ongoing work will look like. My focus is to help you feel confident and supported, not overloaded. Above all, expect a conversation and a partnership where we work together to support your health journey.
