About Emily
Emily is a registered dietitian from PA who is excited to help you reach your goals! She has experience in vary nutrition topics with a particular interest in weight loss, pre-diabetes and diabetic education. She promotes eating to feel good, which can look different for each person. Using nutrition science, nutrition counseling and behavior change she works to help patients live a life that aligns with their values and their health goals.
Approach to care
She works to have an intentional, empathetic and listening environment where she is able to learn what patients want to work towards and work together to find what interventions would be the most achievable and impactful towards your goals. She aims to set goals with patients at each session and return to the goals at each session to see how we can continue to work towards patient goals. Each person has has a different life and different goals and should receive individualized plans of care to cater to their needs.
Your first session with Emily
We will discuss your medical history, dietary recall and relationship with food. We will review your nutrition and health goals and start to find ways we can work on intervening to help you accomplish these goals. We will leave space for additional questions and information you would like to provide during our initial meeting.
