About Emily
Hello! In addition to 1:1 nutrition counseling, my background as a dietitian includes experience in acute and rehabilitation clinical settings supporting clients with various medical conditions. Nutrition as a career choice stems from my lifelong desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with nutrition being a dominant pillar. Other aspects of health lie near to my heart, including mental and physical health. I believe a holistic approach to health leads to lasting lifestyle changes.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in creating a client centered environment with a focus on patience, compassion, and open-mindedness to create safe and respectful relationships with my clients. My foundation includes evidence-based approaches for nutrition and change. I believe that making small, sustainable changes will lead to great achievements and a healthy lifestyle.
Your first session with Emily
I am someone who creates a safe and supportive space for my clients. I will take this time to get to know you and explore your health history, lifestyle, dietary habits, and goals. My intent is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your lifestyle and why you're seeking to collaborate with a dietitian like myself. Together, we will create an individualized action plan to guide you toward success. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
