About Emily
Hi, Iâm Emily! Iâm a registered dietitian whoâs passionate about helping people build a healthy, more peaceful relationship with foodâwithout extremes, guilt, or all-or-nothing thinking. I earned my Bachelorâs degree in Dietetics from Brigham Young University and am currently completing my Masterâs in Dietetic Administration through Utah State University. My experience spans clinical nutrition, community and wellness settings, schools, and athletics. I've worked with marathoners, ultra runners, triathletes, recreational athletes, and non-athletes of course! Outside of work, youâll usually find me biking, hiking, skiing, or baking sourdough. I have a deep appreciation for culture and have lived in Norway, Spain, Puerto Rico, and several states across the U.S.âexperiences that have been both enriching and formative. I also lead humanitarian trips around the world, which has further shaped how I approach health, culture, and caring for people as unique individuals.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition should support your life, not control it. My focus is on helping you move away from disordered eating patterns and toward a confident, flexible, and sustainable relationship with food. Weâll work on building habits that feel doable, not overwhelming, while still supporting goals like weight loss, performance, and overall well-being. I use a client-centered, practical, and compassionate approach rooted in evidence-based nutrition and motivational interviewing. Thereâs no âperfectâ way to eatâjust a way that helps you feel stronger, healthier, and more at peace in your body.
Your first session with Emily
Your first session is all about getting to know you. Weâll talk through your health history, goals, lifestyle, relationship with food, and any concerns around eating, weight, or performance. Iâll ask questions to understand whatâs worked, what hasnât, and what feels hardest right now. Together, weâll start creating a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to youânot a generic diet. You can expect a judgment-free, supportive conversation and a few clear, manageable next steps to help you start building momentum right away.
