About Emily
I started my career as a dietitian working in diabetes and weight management. I've helped individuals lose weight, lower their A1c, and improve their blood pressure through lifestyle changes. I am passionate about using food as medicine, but I am also skilled at meeting patients where they're at. In addition to blood sugar management and weight loss, I have a special interest in functional nutrition and maternal nutrition.
Approach to care
My primary goal is to build a relationship of trust and openness with my patients. I take a holistic approach to care by discussing movement, sleep, stress management, and mental health, in addition to nutrition. I am passionate about teaching patients about their health and as a forever student myself, I am always growing in my nutrition knowledge to best help and guide you.
Your first session with Emily
In our first session I will learn about your health history, lifestyle, and where you are currently at in your health and wellness journey. I'll ask about your nutrition goals, and we will collaborate together on how to reach those goals through sustainable changes that work for you.
