About Emma
I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. I have gained a considerable amount of experience in women's health, diabetes and bariatric nutrition over my 10 years as a dietitian. I have worked at TCH Pavilion for Women in Houston and Houston Methodist. I see patients for many conditions including diabetes, heart disease, weight management, pregnancy, post-partum, fertility and perimenopause/menopause. I look forward to helping you with your wellness journey!
Approach to care
I believe that nutrition is very personal and I approach each patient with that focus. What you eat is only one aspect of health and wellness. I aim for a holistic approach. I strive to create individualized treatment plans for each of our patients as each person has a unique history and unique needs.
Your first session with Emma
I use the first session to get to know you and what your goals are. I ask a lot of questions so that I can better understand the best way to help you. We discuss and I educate based on your condition(s) and goals. We discuss lifestyle and mental health in relation to your goals as well.
