About Emma

Welcome!! I’m a registered dietitian who believes food shouldn’t feel stressful or confusing. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel supported and confident as you work toward your goals. I work with people who feel overwhelmed by nutrition advice, are stuck in cycles of dieting, or unsure how to eat in a way that supports long-term health and a better relationship with food. I’m especially passionate about helping with emotional eating, binge eating, and other eating disorder recovery, as well as supporting clients using GLP-1 medications and improving metabolic health in a realistic, sustainable way.

Approach to care

You are the expert on you. In our sessions, I honor that and make sure your voice always leads the way. You get to decide what we focus on, what feels most important, and what support looks like for you. If you ever come to a session unsure of what to talk about, don’t worry! I’ve got plenty of ideas and guidance to offer. My approach is guided by a weight-neutral philosophy, the Health at Every SizeĀ® (HAES) model, and a rejection of diet culture. Above all, my goal is to help you walk away from each session feeling even a little more confident, knowledgeable, and empowered.

Your first session with Emma

At your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and understand your unique experience with food. We’ll talk about your current eating patterns, your past and present relationship with food, and any restrictive or compensatory behaviors, as well as experiences of feeling out of control around food or eating past fullness. If you’re comfortable, we can also explore your relationship with your body, weight history, recent lab work, and what helps you feel motivated and supported, so we can tailor our sessions to meet your needs.
