About Emma
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who believes that food should be a source of nourishment, connection, and joy—not stress. I earned my degree from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and have spent my career helping people transform their relationship with food. Currently, I specialize in eating disorders, supporting individuals as they navigate recovery with compassion, evidence-based care, and an individualized approach. I also have experience working with clients managing diabetes and sports nutrition, helping others find a balanced way to nourish themselves while supporting their long-term health and goals.
Approach to care
I take a non-judgmental, collaborative approach that includes meeting clients where they are, listening deeply to their experiences, and working together to create realistic, sustainable steps toward their goals. I’m passionate about incorporating principles of intuitive eating, body respect, and nutrition flexibility into my sessions, while also honoring each person’s cultural background, preferences, and life circumstances.
Your first session with Emma
In our first session, we’ll take time to understand your health history, lifestyle, and relationship with food. Together we’ll create a plan that feels both supportive and doable. My goal is to ensure you leave each session with practical tools, a clearer vision of your next steps, and a little more self-compassion than when you came in.
