About Emma

As your Registered Dietitian, I'm passionate about helping you develop a new confidence surrounding food and nutrition. I hail from years of diverse work environments including working in a long-term care setting, rehab setting, in a hospital, as well as serving as an outpatient nutrition counselor. This diversity of background experiences has helped me better understand the continuum of nutrition care and allowed me to work with adults from all backgrounds and stages of life. This assortment of experiences has strengthened my understanding and compassion for helping individuals at each step in their health journey. I hope to transfer my passion and nutrition knowledge to my clients to help them build a strong, supportive relationship with food.

Approach to care

I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to nutrition care which takes into account all the lifestyle habits which play a role in your food and nutrition habits. The medical nutrition therapy I seek to deliver combines years of education with an empathetic and human touch in which I work with my clients to meet them where they are at and to develop new habits which serve them. I understand the importance of balance and emphasize the significance of sustainable, long-term solutions to nutrition issues. Together we will break through barriers and share successes in an effort to re-write your nutrition narrative.

Your first session with Emma

Your first session will be all about me getting to know you. I will ask you questions about your medical history, health history, and eating habits, as well as any current nutrition concerns which you hope to address through working with me. I will also seek to understand how I may best serve you - whether that be as a cheerleader, accountability partner, or motivational coach. You can expect a judgement-free environment in which I seek to understand your current relationship with food & nutrition as well as your lifestyle habits. Together we will work to create a personalized plan that matches evidence-nutrition therapy with your nutrition intentions and lifestyle to begin building habits which serve you.
