About Emma

Hi, I'm Emma. I'm a Registered Dietitian (RD) with going on two years of experience. I hold an MS degree from Montana State University and two bachelor's degrees from Cornell University. My work has taken me from clinical and hospital settings to positions in research, community health, and sports nutrition, so I bring a well-rounded view of how food supports health in real life. When I'm not in sessions, you'll find me running, hiking, cooking, or lost in a good book. I also love pets -- you may see some of my fur babies during session! I value collaboration, meeting you where you are, and helping you build a healthier relationship with food that lasts.

Approach to care

My care philosophy centers on evidence, empathy, and partnership. I stay current with science and research to craft plans that are practical and effective, while always honoring your lived experience. We will work together toward durable change with clear actions, steady accountability, and gentle momentum. I practice using a weight-inclusive approach and a holistic lens that looks at sleep, stress, movement, and mood, and deemphasizes calories and weight. Education fuels autonomy, and everyone deserves strategies that fit their life.

Your first session with Emma

Our first appointment is a warm conversation, not an exam. We'll review your medical history, talk about your goals, and dive into your relationship with food and movement in a nonjudgmental space. We'll establish short-term goals and begin describing how we'll track progress together. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet; I'll guide you and we will tailor a plan that feels doable in your daily life. My aim is to ease anxiety and give you practical steps you can start this week.
