About Emma

Hi, I'm Emma. I'm a Registered Dietitian with seven years of experience and an MS in Nutrition & Dietetics. I've worked in clinical hospital settings and in community health, and I bring a direct, action-oriented style paired with empathy and education. I hold credentials as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). I'm passionate about turning science into practical, everyday change. I've supported people with weight management, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and food allergies. I'm living with type 1 diabetes myself, using CGM, insulin, and medications, which gives me firsthand insight into daily management. In my spare time I love gardening, cooking, and time outdoors, all of which nourish my approach to sustainable, enjoyable nourishment.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is evidence-based and compassionate. I ground my practice in current research and proven protocols, but I meet you where you are and keep the focus on real life. We'll work together with a direct and action-oriented plan that translates science into simple steps you can actually follow. I favor a holistic, weight-neutral approach that centers behaviors, health, and daily living, not dieting rules. Education is key, so I empower you with the knowledge to make informed choices and sustain healthy habits long term.

Your first session with Emma

Our first session is all about you. We'll review your medical history and dive into your relationship with food in a judgment-free space. Think of it as a conversation, not a test, where we explore your goals, routines, and any foods or allergies that matter to you. We'll map out a practical plan with one to two achievable goals to start, and I'll guide you with clear next steps. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; we'll figure it out together and set you up for steady progress.
