About Erica

Nice to meet you! I’m Erica, a non-diet dietitian. I help people reach their health goals without feeling obsessed with food. With a background in psychology and nutrition science, I recognize that healthy eating is not just about the nutrients in “what” you eat but also includes a positive relationship with food that supports your mental wellbeing. My specialties include binge eating recovery, emotional eating, PCOS, Intuitive Eating, blood sugar management, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, gestational diabetes, and building a positive body image.

Approach to care

In our sessions you can expect a welcoming, brave space to speak freely about your health concerns. No judgment or food police here! My approach is evidence-based, weight-inclusive, and tailored to your lifestyle and needs. I understand that meeting with a registered dietitian can feel overwhelming at first. Maybe you’ve had bad experiences with health providers in the past talking “at” you which left you feeling judged and confused. My approach differs in that it is centered around your needs and designed to provide you with the clarity, support, and information you seek to build the healthiest version of yourself. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to nutrition.

Your first session with Erica

My intention is for you to feel heard, understood, and safe voicing your concerns. I’ll invite you to share your health goals, favorite foods, interests, hobbies, and stuck points so that together we can create an action plan that aligns with your values. By the end of our first session, you’ll walk away with at least one specific action step so that you feel launched toward your end goal.
