About Erica
Please hear me--It's not your fault, and I'm glad you're here. With over a decade of experience practicing in this field, I have learned that "health" is never just about foodâitâs about safety and resilience. My approach is deeply informed by my own lived experience creating the space to grow in defiance of the poverty and neglect that was my reality. I know firsthand that "self-care" is impossible in the face of systemic challenges and the unpredictability of this life. My goal is to honor the strength you already possess to continue to grow in spite of it all--with a compassionate, realistic plan that respects your unique boundaries and history.
Approach to care
Our work together is a true partnership. I combine evidence-based science with deep empathy, knowing that data is only helpful if it feels safe and manageable in your actual life. We focus on sustainable rhythms rather than restrictive rules. Through a Health At Every Size (HAES) lens, we shift away from the stress of the scale to focus on your whole-person well-beingâphysical, mental, and emotional.
Your first session with Erica
Our first session is a judgment-free, collaborative space dedicated to you. There are no "right" answers and no pressure to have it all figured out. We will explore your history and relationship with food at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we will identify simple, immediate steps that respect your boundaries and empower you to take the lead in your own healing.
