About Erika
Hi! My name is Erika Bell and I am a registered and licensed dietitian located in Idaho. I am also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). I feel strongly that nutrition plays a pivotal role in our overall health and well-being. I have built a foundation in evidenced based nutrition by staying educated on the latest research and trends. Over the past few years, I've developed a strong passion for helping those with prediabetes/diabetes. I also enjoy assisting those interested in general health, weight management, and heart health. I would love to support and empower you on your nutrition journey! Let's chat! And always remember, all foods fit!
Approach to care
My philosophy emphasizes health promotion, prevention, and management through a nutrition lens while developing trusting relationships with my clients. I am passionate about providing care that is person-centered, practical, and sustainable. I strive to develop genuine relationships with my clients by meeting them where they are at and empowering individuals to make lifestyle changes that are sustainable.
Your first session with Erika
During our first session, the majority of our time will be spent getting to know one another. This is a collaborative and non-judgmental environment. I will begin by performing a comprehensive nutrition assessment. I strive to truly understand my clients in efforts to best meet their needs. I will ask a variety of questions and review information related to your food and nutrition-related history, medical history, your personal history including social and cultural factors, and we will review your personal goals and preferences. This first visit is the foundation for developing a personalized approach to help you achieve your desired health outcomes.
