About Erin
Hi, I'm Erin. I have 30 years experience ( who’s counting!) as a Registered Dietitian and have worked in clinical settings, private practice, and insulin pump sales and training. I’m proud to hold CDCES and RD credentials, and love helping people gain traction with simple steps toward their goals. My area of professional focus for the past 10 years has been diabetes care, including type 1,2 and pregnancy. I am passionate about reducing Diabetes burden and helping people use tools such as CGM and insulin pumps to lead lead easier lives! My experience spans metabolic conditions from prediabetes to cardiac heath, kidney and liver conditions as well as weight management. I have also aged in this career as a busy single mother to a woman in my next stage of life and I share the struggle that so many others do with weight, life balance and Hashimoto’s. I see and understand the challenges people face to regain health. I believe in people, not perfection.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based practice with a warm, collaborative spirit. I’ll meet you where you are and together we’ll build a plan that fits your life, not the other way around. I embrace a Health at Every Size mindset and a weight neutral, non diet culture approach, aiming for sustainable, long term change. We’ll translate current science into practical steps you can actually use day to day. You’ll get an educational, holistic partner who treats the whole person with respect.
Your first session with Erin
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, and discuss labs and biometrics in a clear, non-judgmental way. There is no need to have it all figured out before we meet. We’ll talk about your relationship with food, your daily routines, sleep, stress, and what matters most to you. By the end, we’ll set 1 to 2 realistic next steps designed to fit your life and keep you moving forward together.
