About Erin
Erin is an experienced Dietitian with a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition. She has experience with the following: metabolic health; GI health; weight management; pre/post-operative bariatric care; intuitive eating; pre-natal care; PCOS; Blood Glucose management; high blood pressure; high cholesterol. Aside from working in a variety of clinical settings, Erin also has experience creating recipes for balanced meals on a budget. With Erin’s experience and educational background in Human Nutrition, she will teach you how nutrition works to not only nourish your mind and body, but also how in turn that will lead to lasting changes that improve your overall health and wellbeing.
Approach to care
Welcome to Nourish! As mentioned, I am an experienced Dietitian who will always offer a compassionate approach to your care and take the time to really get to know what will work best for you to achieve your long-term health and wellness goals. Because nutrition is not a “one size fits all” ordeal, I want to take time to learn more about your current lifestyle, traditions, cultural background, as well as current life stressors if any apply. Together we will practice mindfulness and behavioral change techniques to help you along your journey which will help you to develop a plan to set your desired goals into action, to make a lasting positive change for your health.
Your first session with Erin
In our first session, we will discuss your individual needs and establish personalized goals to help you begin your wellness journey. We will begin with a detailed assessment which will cover the following: review of your past medical history; review of medications and current supplements; possible triggers for stress; current eating habits/patterns; sleep patterns; daily schedule; exercise. Nutrition education will be provided and we will establish goals and develop an individualized plan to meet your specific needs. My goal is to provide you with ample support and resources to assist you in not only achieving your goals, but more importantly maintaining desired health outcomes.
