About Erin
Erin Lichter is a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about helping others nourish and respect their bodies. She has been practicing for 7+ years and has worked with a wide variety of individuals. Erin started her career in the hospital setting, has worked in the virtual outpatient world as well as, at an inpatient eating disorder treatment center. Erin specializes in disordered eating and eating disorders and is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.
Approach to care
Erin utilizes an Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size approach (HAES) which prioritizes health promoting behaviors over rigid rules/restriction. Erin aims to support her clients and walk alongside them as they discover what life for them looks like without food and body obsession, chronic dieting, and disordered behaviors around food and movement. Overall, Erin believes her role as a Registered Dietitian is to help others cultivate a peaceful relationship with food and body image in order to live a more joyful and fulfilling life.
Your first session with Erin
Erin will utilize the first session to get to know you as a person. She will ask questions to gain a better understanding of pertinent medical history, lifestyle routine, current challenges, desires and goals. With that information, Erin will aim to set realistic expectations. Generally, Erin will meet with individuals once per week to start. Finally, you and Erin will come up with a game plan and discuss what a realistic actionable goal for you is prior to your next session.

Education
Erin earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics at Kansas State University and completed her Dietetic Internship and Masters of Science degree in Health and Human Performance at McNeese State University.
Hobbies
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time in the kitchen either cooking or baking. She takes pride in tending to her plants, her favorite being her fiddle leaf fig. Erin enjoys moving her body especially the simplicity and low impact benefits of a refreshing outdoor walk. Being in Colorado, she enjoy hiking and skiing. In addition, Erin loves reading and listening to podcasts.
