About Esi
Hi, I’m Esi. I work with adults who want to improve their health without extremes or judgment about food. Many of my patients come to me feeling overwhelmed by weight changes, blood sugar concerns, heart health risks, stress eating, or years of conflicting nutrition advice. I help you make sense of what’s going on in your body and build a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable. I specialize in weight management and cardiometabolic health, including concerns like prediabetes, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. My background includes advanced training in nutrition science, and I focus on translating scientific evidence into care that actually fits real life.
Approach to care
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in science, not trends. I believe nutrition care works best when it’s personalized and flexible. Together, we focus on understanding your routines, preferences, stressors, and goals first. From there, we build habits gradually, using practical strategies that support long-term health rather than quick fixes. Sessions are judgment-free and supportive. I aim to help you feel informed, confident, and empowered, so food becomes something you understand and trust, not something that causes stress or guilt.
Your first session with Esi
In our first session, we’ll take time to talk through your health goals, concerns, and what’s been challenging for you so far. I’ll ask about your eating patterns, lifestyle, medical history, and what success looks like to you. You can expect to leave with: clarity about your nutrition priorities a few realistic, actionable next steps and a plan that feels manageable, not overwhelming. Most patients tell me they leave our first session feeling calmer, more hopeful, and more confident about the path forward.
