About Esi
Hi there! I’m Esi. I work with teens and adults who want to improve their health without extremes or judgment around food. Many of my patients come to me feeling overwhelmed by weight, blood sugar concerns, heart health risks, stress eating, or years of conflicting nutrition advice. I help you understand what’s happening in your body and create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable. I specialize in weight management and cardiometabolic health, including prediabetes, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with advanced training in nutrition science, and my approach focuses on translating scientific evidence into practical strategies that fit real life. If you’re looking for clear guidance, support, and a plan you can actually stick with, I’d be happy to work with you.
Approach to care
I will work with you compassionately and collaboratively. Nutrition care works best when it’s personalized and flexible, so we will start by understanding your routines, preferences, stressors, and health goals. Once we have that down, we will build habits gradually, using practical strategies that support long-term health rather than quick fixes. All recommendations are grounded in science, not trends. Our sessions will be judgment-free and supportive. I aim to help you feel informed, confident, and empowered, so food becomes something you understand and trust, not something that causes stress or guilt.
Your first session with Esi
In our first session, we’ll take time to talk through your health goals, concerns, and what’s been challenging for you so far. I’ll ask about your eating patterns, lifestyle, medical history, and what success looks like to you. You can expect to leave with: clarity about your nutrition priorities, a few realistic actionable next steps and a plan that feels manageable, not overwhelming. Most patients tell me they leave our first session feeling calmer, more hopeful, and more confident about the path forward.
