About Eva
Food has always been central to how I connect with people and neighborhoods. With an MS in Clinical Nutrition and over 1,500 of supervised practice hours, I've worked in hospital settings, private practice, and community health across Memphis. I blend evidence-based care with a warm, patient-focused presence, meeting you where you are. When I'm not seeing patients you'll find me cooking, practicing yoga, playing golf, or reading the Bible, all of which help me stay grounded and present for the work we do together.
Approach to care
I practice nutrition care that pairs current research with empathy and practical steps. We'll work together to build sustainable habits, using clear, achievable actions rather than quick fixes. I bring a Health At Every Size perspective, focusing on behaviors and overall wellbeing instead of weight targets, and I address the whole person, including mental and lifestyle factors. Education is central, so you'll leave sessions feeling more informed and confident to make choices that last.
Your first session with Eva
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we take the time to understand your story. We'll review your medical history and take a deep look at your relationship with food, routines, and barriers. Rather than overwhelming you with change, we'll establish a couple of short-term, realistic goals so you have a clear next step. You don't need to have everything figured out before our visit, we'll figure it out together at a pace that fits your life.
