About Evelyn
I'm a food-loving dietitian, who understands that we are all humans living in a challenging food environment! My mantra is that you can love your food and love your health, at the same time. My nutrition background sprouted from the Ukrainian, Russian, and Jewish foods I grew up with in my home. My fascination with other cultures excites me to travel, taste, and learn other people's food and lifestyles. I love trying native fruits and vegetables in other countries! My own personal nutrition journey, education, and clinical training help me blend food love with accurate, medical science-based understanding of nutrition, disease, and health.
Approach to care
My approach is sensitive, flexible, and wholistic. I ask about how you feel, what your lifestyle and schedule are like, and what you know and don't know about food and nutrition. I will help you explore and set nutrition goals in your comfort zone, and keep you accountable. I will also support you and encourage you to be patient with yourself. Changes happen over time, and there is no perfect way to eat!
Your first session with Evelyn
In your first session, I like to get to know you and learn about your nutrition questions and goals. We can talk about how you eat, what you like and dislike, how you feel about your health, any conditions you want to manage with food, and how to set smart goals that will work for you.
