About Fancy

Hi, I'm Fancy, a Registered Dietitian based in San Francisco Bay Area with 15 years of experience. I've worked across clinical hospital settings, community health, and outpatient nutrition counseling, with a focus on diabetes self management education, CGM education, carbohydrate counting, weight management, gestational nutrition, and cardiovascular and metabolic health. I believe in culturally sensitive, patient centered care. Outside of work I enjoy reading, listening to people's stories, grocery shopping, and reading ingredient labels for both food and personal care products. I also stay active with at home workouts, tackle small home repair projects, and volunteer in the community. I hold CDCES and CLE credentials alongside my RD and RDN designations, and I love helping people grow toward a healthier, more sustainable future for themselves and their families.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends evidence based practice with warmth and collaboration. I anchor my guidance in current research and proven protocols, while remaining empathetic and nonjudgmental. We work together to translate science into practical, doable steps that fit your life. I practice with a Health At Every Size (HAES) lens, focusing on sustainable behaviors rather than restrictive diets. My approach is holistic, considering sleep, stress, activity, and the relationship you have with food, not just the numbers on a plate. I believe education is empowerment, and I’ll explain the why behind recommendations so you can own your choices and stay motivated for the long term.

Your first session with Fancy

Our first session is all about you. We'll create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can share your story, goals, and concerns. We will review your medical history, lab work and biometrics, and discuss your current routine, then establish 1 or 2 short term goals. Together we’ll outline a personalized meal plan that respects your preferences and schedule, and I’ll explain the next steps for tracking progress. You don’t need to have everything figured out yet just show up as you are and we’ll start building a plan that feels doable and sustainable.
