About Farrah

After 15 years as a registered dietitian, my work feels like an ongoing conversation with real people and real lives. I’m an RDN and LDN with graduate training that includes BS and MS in Human Environmental Sciences (Nutrition Specialization) and a MA/PhD in theological studies, and that mix of clinical and reflective training shapes how I support whole-person care. I’ve practiced in hospitals, research and academia, community health, sports nutrition with military and professional teams, and at Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine. Outside the clinic you’ll find me on a nature walk, out for a jog, or sharing coffee and conversation with a friend. I love helping people alongside their journey of achieving their best selves.

Approach to care

Evidence, empathy, and practical action guide how we work together. I draw on current research and my clinical experience to offer clear, science-informed strategies, while using a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens. We’ll focus on sustainable habits that honor your whole life, not quick fixes or diet culture. I aim to educate and empower you, translating evidence into small, manageable steps we can try together, while keeping our work judgment-free and compassionate.

Your first session with Farrah

Think of the first visit as a low-pressure conversation where we get curious about your story. We’ll review relevant medical history, talk through routines and barriers, and spend time getting to know you as a whole person. Together we’ll establish one or two short-term, realistic goals so you leave with a clear first step. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just come as you are and we’ll build from there.
