About Fayeza
I am a dedicated nutrition and dietetics professional with a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s in Food Science. I’m also a ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager and currently awaiting results for my IBCLC credential. My background spans clinical nutrition, education, and research, grounded in a Bachelor’s in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Oakton Community College, I teach Essentials of Nutrition (BIO 112) using active, student-centered learning. My experience includes serving as Head Dietitian at a weight-loss center, assisting in academic research, and completing diverse clinical and community nutrition rotations. Passionate about lifelong learning, I actively engage in professional workshops on renal, critical care, and perioperative nutrition. I strive to combine evidence-based practice with compassionate care to improve patient outcomes and promote community well-being.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in evidence-based nutrition, empathy, and patient empowerment. I believe that effective nutrition care begins with understanding each individual’s unique medical history, cultural background, and personal goals before creating tailored, realistic nutrition plans.
