About Frances
I earned my BS in Dietetics at James Madison University. I bring four years of experience as a registered dietitian and I also hold both CIEC and CEDS certification that informs my compassionate, trauma-informed care. Outside of work I recharge by hiking, running, traveling, reading, and crocheting.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy shape how I support people. I center care in a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral framework and blend research-backed strategies with a whole-person lens, so we'll address mental, emotional, and physical factors together. You’ll be met without judgment, and we’ll set direct, manageable actions that build lasting habits rather than short-term fixes.
Your first session with Frances
Expect a deep dive into your relationship with food, conducted in a calm, non-judgmental way. We'll talk through your history, routines, wins, and frustrations, and connect those details to realistic, sustainable changes. You don't need to have everything figured out or bring perfect tracking. Together we'll identify a few achievable next steps and skills to practice between visits, and I’ll make sure you leave feeling supported and clear about where we're headed.
