About Frances
Hi, I’m Frances! I’m a registered dietitian with a background in long-term care and rehab, where I’ve helped adults manage conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease. I became a dietitian because I genuinely love food and believe it should bring comfort and confidence—not confusion or guilt. My goal is to help you build a way of eating that supports your health and actually fits your life. Outside of sessions, you’ll find me cooking cozy meals, reading mystery novels, playing tennis, hosting dinner parties, or exploring D.C. I bring the same warmth and practicality to my work, and I’m honored to be part of your health journey.
Approach to care
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I take time to understand your goals, health concerns, and daily routine so we can create realistic strategies that support both your well-being and your relationship with food. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, adjusting to a new diagnosis, or simply trying to feel better day to day, I offer practical, evidence-based guidance without judgment, strict rules, or one-size-fits-all plans.
Your first session with Frances
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk through your health history, eating habits, daily routine, and what you’re hoping to get out of nutrition counseling. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—just a supportive space to share and ask questions. Together, we’ll identify a few realistic action steps based on your goals and lifestyle. By the end, you’ll leave with a clear direction and a plan that feels doable and personal.
