I am a Registered Dietitian and have a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with 3 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient care. My specialty involves utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to help address concerns related to Weight Loss, Diabetes, Kidney Disease, and Cardiovascular Disease.

Approach to care

My approach involves implementing the current evidence based nutrition to help guide patients in making long-lasting dietary and lifestyle changes that are realistic and achievable. Long-lasting changes occur when the behavior changes are thought of by the individual trying to make the change. My client-centered approach guides the patient to find their own intrinsic motivation for change.

Your first session with Francis

I will provide a non-judgemental space where patients can discuss their health concerns and goals. My goal is to gather all the necessary information and help develop a realistic and measurable plan of change that the patient can start working towards.
