About Gabrielle
Gabrielle is a well-seasoned (pun intended) dietitian with a diverse background. She has worked in gastroenterology clinics, diabetes & cardiac rehab programs, a generalized nutrition center, kidney/liver transplant clinic, behavioral health, as well as others. For the past several years, she has specialized in working with those who have gastrointestinal (GI) related conditions. Having irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) herself, she understands the challenges that come with managing symptoms while maintaining quality of life. In addition to helping those with GI conditions, she also enjoys general healthy nutrition counseling, women’s health conditions, and diabetes.
Approach to care
Gabrielle is firm believer in offering individualized nutrition care that is rooted in evidence-based practice. She is passionate about guiding patients towards their desired health goals while encouraging a peaceful relationship with food and body. You can expect Gabrielle to listen deeply and meet you where you are at. She takes a weight neutral approach that focuses on sustainable and realistic lifestyle changes.
Your first session with Gabrielle
During the first session, Gabrielle will get to know you and your specific health goals by going over a comprehensive nutrition assessment which includes your medical history, lifestyle habits, symptoms (if applicable), as well as eating patterns and behaviors surrounding food/nutrition. She'll take time to listen and understand your story, so she can assist with developing a personalized plan. The plan will be discussed, and then a follow up will be scheduled.
