About Garrett
I have been a registered dietitian since 2019, in which I spent 3 years working in various long-term care facilities. This eventually led me to renal nutrition where I spent another 3 years working in a dialysis clinic with in-center and home therapies patients. Biochemistry and how the various compounds we put into ourselves interact with our bodies and minds have always fascinated me. I understand how difficult it can be to have a healthy work-life balance while also trying to navigate the overwhelming amount of nutrition misinformation presented to us daily.
Approach to care
There are several layers to living a healthy life with nutrition being one of them. You and I will work together to find what fits your lifestyle without stress or unrealistic expectations. I focus on small, meaningful changes that lead to long-term success. Let's be honest, no one is perfect and neither does one's diet have to be. Nutrition is about finding balance in a way that feels good both physically and mentally, which is what I strive to help others succeed at.
Your first session with Garrett
Your first session is all about you- your goals, challenges, and the best way to support your journey. We'll take time to get to know each other, discuss your health and nutrition history, lifestyle, any nutrition concerns you have, and any barriers or obstacles you believe have prevented you and still prevent you from achieving your goals. You will be able to share what's been working, what hasn't, and what you'd like to change completely judgement free. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and excited to take your next steps forward.
