About Georgia
Georgia Rounder is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a decade of experience bridging clinical care, nutrition communications, and business operations. She began her career in direct patient care, serving as an oncology dietitian at Legacy Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon, where she supported patients through treatment by managing nutrition-related symptoms and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams. She later practiced as an Associate Dietitian in New York, providing medical nutrition therapy for clients with acute and chronic conditions. Georgia expanded her expertise into nutrition communications and strategy at Eat Well Global. She also served as Community Manager at Pinto, a personalized nutrition startup (acquired by SPINS), building partnerships across healthcare organizations and driving digital engagement.
Approach to care
Georgia takes a whole-person approach to nutrition, blending evidence-based practice with compassion and practicality. She understands that food is personal and shaped by each individual’s health history, lifestyle, culture, and preferences. Her style is collaborative and non-judgmental, emphasizing small, sustainable changes over rigid rules. By combining science with education, Georgia empowers her clients to feel confident in their choices and build long-term skills for lasting health.
Your first session with Georgia
In a first session, Georgia takes time to listen and understand the full picture of a client’s health, lifestyle, and goals. She gathers background on medical history, current eating patterns, and any challenges or barriers that may have come up in the past. From there, she works with each client to set clear priorities and outline a few manageable first steps. Sessions are designed to be supportive and tailored, with Georgia providing practical guidance and follow-up plans that evolve as the client’s needs and progress unfold.
