About Gina
Hello, I am Gina, and I am so happy you are here!! I have experiencing working with eating disorders, disordered eating, fertility/women's health, general nutrition, sports nutrition, and so much more! I have a passion for helping others create a peaceful relationship with food so that they can thrive to their fullest potential. I believe that achieving your nutrition goals does not have to be complicated or restrictive which is why I like to focus on creating healthful and sustainable nutrition habits that will stick. My ultimate goal is to give you the support and education you need to become the best version of yourself.
Approach to care
As a Dietitian, I take an intuitive eating, anti-diet, and weight-inclusive approach with each of my clients. I believe that all foods fit into a healthy diet and that it is possible to achieve balance while still enjoying all of the foods you love most. I work with clients to create long lasting, sustainable and healthful change when it comes to nutrition. Within my practice, I like to approach nutrition from a science/research backed lens. I am well aware of all of the ways in which diet culture shows up in our social constructs which is why I work to bring to light the fact behind the destructive messaging diet culture portrays.
Your first session with Gina
In our first session, we will take time to get to know one another and chat about what your nutrition related goals are. From there, we will cover previous and present medical history, walk through a typical day of eating, and set goals. When setting goals I will go through any initial eduction needed as well as answer any questions you might have for me. My biggest goal in our initial session is to make sure you feel seen, heard, and understood. Creating a space for you that is safe, compassionate, and welcoming is my top priority. My hope for you is that in our initial session you gain the knowledge and tools you need to crush your nutrition related goals moving forward!
