About Gina
Hi! My name is Gina Ellery and I have been a registered dietitian now for 9 years. I started my career working in the inpatient setting, primarily in the critical care unit, and slowly worked my way solely into nutrition counseling. When I had my first child in 2021, I decided to start my own business/private practice that focused on one-on-one nutrition counseling. I thoroughly enjoy building relationships and rapport with individuals and am confident that I can help you reach your nutrition-related goals. Some fun facts about me are that I have 2 toddlers who keep me very busy and love anything that has to do with the outdoors: gardening, hiking, and running.
Approach to care
I take the time to understand the background of each client and which approach would be most appropriate for them (extreme structure all the way to following intuitive eating principles).
Your first session with Gina
Please be prepared to describe a day-in-the-life of your eating habits and any factors that play a role in your eating decisions. We will discuss history with any previous nutrition counseling as well as an understanding of what YOU want to gain from this experience.
