About Gina
Gina started her career in WIC as a nutrition educator, progressed to dietitian, and eventually program manager. She has worked for a variety of WIC programs across the United States and has experience working with clients of many backgrounds. After 12 years, with the WIC program, Gina decided to expand her career horizons as a behavioral health dietitian at a local hospital. Gina obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, and completed her Master in Public Health Nutrition from the University Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. She became a Certified Health Coach through the American Council of Exercise before completing her dietetic internship and becoming a Registered Dietitian.
Approach to care
Gina offers counseling, education, and support for a variety of conditions. Her mission is to help clients set realistic goals to achieve optimal health outcomes. She believes that all foods can be eaten in moderation, unless medically contraindicated.
Your first session with Gina
Gina will complete a comprehensive assessment that including medical history, food and nutrition habits, sleep, and activity levels. She will help you create goals that are achievable and realistic. At the end of each session, she will provide a personalized care plan for follow ups and review any additional concerns.
