About Gina

Hi, I’m Gina, a Registered Dietitian in Fort Collins, Colorado. With 13 years in the field, I’ve worked in clinical settings, community health, and programs focused on bariatrics, weight loss, and diabetes. I earned a BS in Human Nutrition and Food Science from Colorado State University and completed the dietetic internship at the University of Northern Colorado. I also hold credentials in weight management (Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management - CSOWM), nutrition support (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician - CNSC), and am a licensed dietitian (LD). I believe that all foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle, and I look forward to working with you to make living a healthy lifestyle more achievable. I love puzzles, reading, baking bread, being outside, and hanging with my boys when I’m off work.

Approach to care

My care is built on evidence based science, warmth, and education. I strive to be empathetic and nonjudgmental, meeting you where you are and guiding you with practical steps, clear actions, and accountability. I favor a weight neutral, Health at Every Size approach and aim for sustainable changes over quick fixes. We’ll explore your whole life, from stress and sleep to meals and routines, and I’ll help you build skills you can rely on long term. My goal is to empower you with knowledge and support you with compassion.

Your first session with Gina

Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, current eating patterns, and your short-term and long-term goals. You don’t need to have every detail figured out - I do not expect perfection. We’ll identify one to two achievable steps to start and establish one to two short-term goals for the near future. You’ll leave with a clear sense of direction and support for the next steps.
