Approach to care
As a dietitian focused on healthy eating, weight loss, and diabetes management, my approach would be centered around a personalized, holistic, and sustainable plan that empowers clients to make lasting changes. I begin by understanding my client’s lifestyle, preferences, health conditions, and goals. Every person is unique, so their eating habits should reflect that.
Your first session with Gita
our first session we will discuss your your health background, current medical conditions, medications, and any past diet or nutrition-related experiences and eating habits/food preferences/food intolerances. This helps me get a comprehensive understanding of your health and identify any areas of focus for our plan, whether it’s managing diabetes, weight loss, or improving overall nutrition. I’ll outline the next steps—whether it’s tracking your food intake, setting up follow-up visits, or introducing new healthy habits. I’ll also explain how I’ll be supporting you along the way—whether through follow-up appointments, online tools, or check-ins to ensure progress.
