About Giuseppina

Hi, I’m Giuseppina. I bring 19 years as a Registered Dietitian (MS, RD, LDN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Simmons College and a Master’s in Healthcare Management focused on Public Health. My work spans clinical hospital teams, private practice, corporate wellness, research and academia, community health, sports nutrition, and higher education. I’m also a certified yoga and paddleboard yoga instructor, a culinary instructor, and I producer and co-host a lifestyle show. I’m especially passionate about guiding women through perimenopause and menopause, helping them reconnect with their bodies as they navigate symptoms, weight changes, and surprising lab results. I combine evidence-based science with warmth, empathy, and a holistic approach learned from years in diverse settings.

Approach to care

My care philosophy centers on partnership and science-informed care. I’ll combine current evidence with an empathetic, warm approach, meeting you where you are and avoiding judgment. We’ll set direct, achievable steps and track progress in a practical way, always prioritizing lasting change over quick fixes. I practice with a weight-neutral, HAES-informed lens, focusing on habits and behaviors that support health without diet culture pressure. Holistic means considering sleep, stress, movement, and nutrition, and I’ll share clear explanations so you feel capable and informed.

Your first session with Giuseppina

Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll start by reviewing your medical history and lab work, then dive into your relationship with food and your goals. We’ll establish short-term aims that feel doable and create a practical meal plan tailored to your schedule, preferences, and perimenopause needs. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet; this is a judgment-free, collaborative conversation. By the end, you’ll have a clear path forward and one or two concrete steps to start with.
