About Gretchen

Hi, I'm Gretchen. I'm a Registered Dietitian based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with an MS in Community Nutrition. I have three years of experience as a RD in both community and clinical health. I have experience in a hospital setting, in an acute care setting and I currently work full time at an outpatient dialysis unit. I practice with my MS, LDN, and RDN postnominals and I stay grounded in evidence while honoring real life. When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling, cooking, exercising, working the front desk at my gym or exploring a new coffee shop. I’m passionate about helping people build practical, sustainable changes that fit their lives and meet them where they are. I believe that life is worth enjoying and our health plays a large part in being able to live life to the fullest.

Approach to care

Together we’ll explore nutrition through an evidence-based lens. I believe nutrition is about more than a plan; it’s about your whole life including sleep, stress, culture, and daily routines. I work with you in a collaborative, empathetic way, providing clear, actionable steps and steady support. My approach is holistic and educational: I share the science behind recommendations so you can make informed choices, while honoring your preferences and schedule. I avoid dieting dogma and focus on sustainable habits that promote lasting health and well being so you have the tools to navigate your daily life. We’ll celebrate progress and adjust as life changes.

Your first session with Gretchen

Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll start by reviewing your medical history and current nutrition concerns, then discuss short term goals. We’ll talk through your lifestyle, routines, and what has or hasn’t worked in the past. There’s no need to come with everything figured out; this is a judgment-free, low-pressure conversation where you’re the expert on your life. By the end, we’ll set 1–2 realistic, personalized goals and I’ll outline what support looks like as we move forward together.
