About Gretchen

I’m a Registered Dietitian with over six years of experience supporting individuals and communities through evidence-based, compassionate nutrition care. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Montana State University. My background spans clinical nutrition, community health, and nutrition education, with a focus on helping people make sustainable changes that fit their values. I’m passionate about translating nutrition science into practical, realistic guidance and creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to reach their goals.

Approach to care

My approach is weight-neutral, trauma-informed, and highly individualized. I focus on supporting health and well-being beyond the scale, using intuitive eating and evidence-based nutrition to help clients build a more trusting, sustainable relationship with food and their bodies. I strive to create a non-judgmental, supportive space and partner with clients to develop realistic strategies that align with their unique needs.

Your first session with Gretchen

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and build a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about your health history, relationship with food, current challenges, and what you’re hoping to get out of nutrition counseling. I’ll take time to listen, answer questions, and understand what feels most important to you right now. Together, we’ll begin identifying realistic, individualized next steps—at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. There’s no pressure to change everything at once, and no focus on weight unless you want it to be part of the conversation. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and clear on what comes next.
