About Halima

Hi, I'm Halima! I’m passionate about helping people who feel stuck in their health journeys gain the tools and confidence to take actionable steps toward their goals. I believe in compassion-forward care and recognize that life stress and daily circumstances directly affect nutrition. I especially enjoy working with women, helping them build habits that support hormone balance so they can look and feel their best. My goal as a dietitian is to help you establish a strong foundation so that even in life’s stormy seasons, your core habits remain steady.

Approach to care

“You’ll never hear me say, ‘Everyone has the same 24 hours.’ After 4+ years of experience, I’ve learned that each person’s schedule, priorities, and health circumstances shape their nutrition and exercise habits. My goal is to create realistic, personalized plans that fit your lifestyle. I take a science-based approach to care and believe that lasting habits are built by rewiring the brain. Many people struggle to reach their health goals because of the ‘good food–bad food’ mindset, which often leads to overeating or a binge–restrict cycle. I strive to teach that all foods fit and show how mindful food tracking can provide flexibility to enjoy your favorite foods while still getting results. My goal is to equip you with mindset tools to prevent self-sabotage so that having a pastry on the weekend doesn’t make you feel like you’ve ‘messed up’ or need to ‘start over’ every Monday (been there, done that).

Your first session with Halima

During our first session, I’ll get to know you and your goals so we can see if we’re a good fit. My approach is to meet you where you’re at. Once I understand your starting point, we’ll create one or two action steps to begin building the foundation toward your goals. We focus on mindset first and results second. In follow-up sessions, I always remind my patients not to worry about being perfect in achieving the goals we set. Follow-ups are my way of guiding you through challenges while offering continued support, education, and accountability. Habits are all about consistency, not perfection!
