About Hana
Hey there! I am a registered dietitian born and raised in south Louisiana, where the love of food runs deep. My experience includes working in the clinical setting and providing telehealth nutrition counseling for areas including type 2 diabetes, heart health, and disordered eating. I'm here to meet you exactly where you're at - and there is never a bad place to start with focusing on your health!
Approach to care
I am extremely passionate about providing evidence-based care and practicing from a non-diet, weight-neutral approach. We'll explore many different factors that can directly impact your health - including your relationship with food, body image, and movement. All of our conversations will come from a non-judgmental place where I am always on your side ready to support you. You will be provided individualized, person-centered care, and we will work collaboratively as a team to improve your overall health.
Your first session with Hana
In our first session, we will get to know each other better and most importantly, make sure you feel comfortable and heard. We will lay down the foundation by discussing topics like your eating habits, stress management, and medical history. By the end of this initial session, we will have created realistic goals specifically for you - this will include more short-term goals that we check in on frequently and long-term goals that we will aim to achieve after building consistent habits and routines!
