About Hannah

I was born and raised in Manhattan, and am currently located in Denver, CO. I grew up as a competitive swimmer, and had always been curious about the connection between nutrition and sports performance. During my varsity athletic career in undergrad, I decided to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition. Although sports and athletics had led me into the field of nutrition, I always had an interest in disordered eating, the harms of diet culture, and eating disorders, as well as public health, health advocacy, and health equity. I went on to pursue my Master of Public Health, and eventually built my career with an expertise in eating disorders and pediatric mental health. Within my career, I am able to exercise my passions to advocate for the best possible outcomes for each individual in their recovery journey.

Approach to care

As an eating disorder dietitian, I am a compassionate provider who strives to build trusting therapeutic relationships. Patients and caregivers have expressed that my understanding demeanor has made them feel heard and cared for during a crucial time in their life. My goal as your dietitian is to support you getting back to living your best, nourished life - a life in which food does not consume the brain space that it may have before, and allows space in your brain and heart for rediscovering joy in life.

Your first session with Hannah

The majority of our first session is spent allowing me to learn about you - your background, your journey with food and eating, and what brought you to seek support from a dietitian. This process helps me understand how to best support you, and allows me to meet you where you are. This will inform any recommendations made at the end of the first session and frequency of follow-up appointments.
