About Hannah
Hannah has a wealth of experience working in the field of nutrition. She started her career in clinical nutrition with a vast understanding of medical nutrition therapy. She later transitioned into outpatient, pediatric care where she spent the last six years working in pediatric gastroenterology. She loves helping patients navigate their nutritional needs while empowering them with nutritional knowledge. She received her undergraduate degree in nutrition from The Pennsylvania State University and went on to complete her dietetic internship with Sodexo while obtaining a master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. In her free time, Hannah enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband, three young children, and beloved bernedoodle.
Approach to care
Hannah believes in using evidence-based practice to educate patients and direct care. She welcomes clients to express where they are and where they want to be to better achieve goals and lifestyle changes. Hannah feels that by setting and achieving smaller goals will lead to better success of meeting the overarching, bigger goal and lifestyle change.
Your first session with Hannah
During your first session, Hannah will get to know you and why you decided to seek out nutrition care. She'll conduct a brief review of your average daily intake, obtain a better understanding of foods you eat, don't eat, your likes and preferences when it comes to foods, cooking, eating outside of your home, and your physical activity levels. Together, you will set forth obtainable goals to help you be your best you!
