About Hannah
Hannah is a Certified Sports Dietitian with a passion for Integrative Functional Nutrition. Her interest in the field of nutrition began as a collegiate swimmer with her own struggles of nutrition impacting performance. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest Hannah always loved the outdoors and continues her utilization of Performance nutrition with her lifelong hobby of backpacking. Her education includes a Master's degree in Dietetics & Exercise Physiology and is currently pursuing the Specialty in Functional Integrative Nutrition, where every aspect of health in the lifestyle is considered to utilize a root-cause approach when making nutritional recommendations.
Approach to care
It's essential to capture an individuals lifestyle when addressing nutritional needs. My approach to care ensures each patient is treated on an individualized basis with interventions unique to their lifestyle needs. Using a root-cause functional integrative approach when creating interventions will ensure goals will be accomplished in a sustainable manner. Nutrition related lab values may be required to address a more in-depth approach to a patient's health status.
Your first session with Hannah
The first session will always include an assessment that covers current concerns, medical background, family history of chronic illness, history of dieting, current supplemental medication and over the counter medications, lab review (if available), food allergies, intolerances or sensitivities, gastrointestinal symptoms, bowel movement trends, physical activity, sleep routine, current nutritional intake, estimated nutritional needs, education and intervention as well as patient centered goals.
