About Hannah

I am a registered dietitian located in both Missouri and Illinois. Coming from the slower life in the Midwest, I understand how today's nutrition and health space can be incredibly overwhelming - and that's why I'm here in the passenger seat with you! I will help guide you with the evidence-based nutrition education and care you need to achieve and maintain reasonable change in your life. With me, you will find trust, compassion, unrelenting positivity, and a new value in your own self-belief. My role will be to openly listen and identify areas we can improve together and keep you accountable to small, sustainable lifestyle changes. I’m focused on supporting your self-belief, and helping you build momentum towards an identity that you will be proud to own. Outside of our sessions, you can find me powerlifting competitively, watching comedies or YouTube videos, reading something new, or spending time with family!

Approach to care

My approach to care is rooted in the practice of positive self-thought combined with provision of evidence-based nutrition care and education. I deeply value understanding who you are and what you need from me as we progress through nutrition care. I’m dedicated to helping you build up your self-belief, which is an essential piece in behavior change and ultimately in reaching your goals set before you. We will work together to ā€œre-programā€ negative self-thought, especially when it comes to your lifestyle practices surrounding nutrition and exercise. I will equip you with applicable tools and resources from a solid professional perspective, finally allowing you to quiet the noise around you - whether it’s from social media, family, friends, or even yourself. My purpose is to travel this road with you, and I want you to see me as a thoughtful guide on your journey towards personal success.

Your first session with Hannah

Our first session will be welcoming and low-stress, with a focus on taking time to get to know you better. I truly want to be in a position of understanding you - who you are and where I need to meet you - before we dive deeper into nutrition together. In this session, we’ll have a comprehensive conversation where we discuss prior medical and nutrition history, your typical schedules and routines, medications and supplements you may take, both current and past challenges or barriers to change, and other key information about your daily practices and overall health goals. As I learn more about you, I’ll be able to begin curating a tailored nutrition plan that we can collaborate on going forward in our next sessions. I am so excited to work with you, and look forward to being a part of your journey!

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Master of Science in Applied Nutrition from Southeast Missouri State University

Hobbies

I enjoy powerlifting, reading, cooking and baking (cheesecakes are my favorite!), outdoor activities, and learning something new (next goal: crochet lessons from my mom!)
