About Hayley

Hi, I’m Hayley. I’m a Registered Dietitian with five years of experience, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I earned my Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from Michigan State University and a Culinary Arts degree from Grand Rapids Community College, because I love turning science into delicious, practical meals. My professional path has taken me through clinical hospital settings and private practice, where I’ve supported people with medical nutrition needs and everyday wellness. Outside of work, you’ll find me cooking, kayaking, painting, reading, golfing, or playing pickleball and board games. I bring curiosity, patience, and a hands-on, evidence-based approach to every session, and I’m excited to learn what matters most to you.

Approach to care

I practice a holistic, evidence-based approach that centers you. As a clinician specializing in Diabetes, I stay grounded in current research while translating it into practical plans you can live with. We’ll collaborate in a warm, nonjudgmental space where your story guides the path forward. I’m committed to sustainable change and focusing on behaviors that support health rather than quick fixes. Education is core for me, so you’ll leave each session with clear steps, confidence, and a better understanding of how your choices fit your life.

Your first session with Hayley

Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review your medical history, lab work and biometrics, and start to establish short term goals. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out beforehand; think of it as a planning conversation rather than an exam. We’ll talk about your daily routines, any obstacles you’ve encountered, and what success looks like for you. By the end, we’ll outline 1 or 2 realistic next steps you can start this week, with ongoing support as we tailor your plan together.
