About Heather
Heather is a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience in nutritional counseling working with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences. She started her career as a public health dietitian and has lived all over the country gaining experience in cardiac rehab, bariatric nutrition, prediabetes, disordered eating and sports nutrition.
Approach to care
Heather uses a client centered approach. This means she will focus on the care specifically for you by listening to your needs and priorities, answering your questions, and coaching you through it all with a problem-solving mindset. Together, we will set nutrition goals and customize your plan that fits in your lifestyle. Heather believes in setting small achievable goals to create lifelong healthy habits.
Your first session with Heather
You can expect a relaxed, supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere. The goal for a first session is to get to know you. Heather will ask about your lifestyle, nutrition history, current eating patterns, medical history and most importantly, what you hope to achieve from a health and nutrition perspective. Together we will develop a personalized treatment plan to help you reach your health goals.
