About Heather

My name is Heather Jewett, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to help you meet your nutrition goals! I became a Dietitian nine years ago, and I have worked in hospitals, bariatric clinics, and acute rehabilitation settings since. Through my personal and professional experiences, I've learned how financial constraints and cultural factors can influence our weight and how the path to health often begins with self-worth, a focus on our motivations for change, and setting realistic goals that use our available resources. I have extensive experience managing adult nutrition support, including both tube feeding and TPN (IV nutrition). I take pride in empowering patients and families receiving nutrition support to live life to it's fullest! Nutrition is not the answer to all of life's discomforts, but it plays a major role in how we function in our bodies, busy lives, and world. I am so blessed to help my patients find peace with nutritional concerns so they can thrive!

Approach to care

I want to understand the origin of your nutrition concerns and the reasons you are seeking care. Once we know your motivations, we have a strong foundation for future success toward your goals. Whether you have hours a day or only short breaks in which to implement lifestyle change, we can work together to build real and lasting change where it's needed.

Your first session with Heather

Our first session together will focus on getting to know each other. It helps to come prepared with your health history (current and past medical diagnoses), allergies, recent weight history, and any diets or nutrition support regimens you are receiving.
