About Heather
Hi! I'm Heather, a Registered Dietitian in practice the past 15 years. I’m a sports dietitian dedicated to helping athletes fuel for performance, recovery, and long-term health. I use evidence-based nutrition strategies to support training demands, optimize energy availability, and enhance performance while promoting a sustainable, balanced approach to fueling.
Approach to care
I believes nutrition should be supportive, realistic, and individualized. My approach focuses on helping clients build a healthier relationship with food while meeting their unique sporting, emotional, and lifestyle needs. I prioritize collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based care, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their health journey.
Your first session with Heather
Your first sports nutrition session is focused on getting to know you as an athlete. We’ll talk through your training schedule, performance goals, and fueling habits. We’ll also review your medical history, injury status, and your lifestyle. Together, we’ll identify opportunities to improve fueling around training and competition, and you’ll leave with clear, practical next steps—such as timing strategies, hydration guidance, or recovery fueling—to begin supporting your performance right away.
