About Heather

Hi, I'm Heather. I have 24 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and I earned my MS in Nutrition from St. Elizabeth University. My professional path spans community health and clinical hospital settings, where I have learned that lasting change happens when we partner on practical, compassionate, real life solutions. For the last 19 years, I have been devoted to providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to pediatric patients and their families' with diagnoses ranging from weight management, food allergies, GI concerns to specialized conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Ketogenic diet for seizures and enteral nutrition. I am an RDN who values science and education, and I bring warmth, curiosity, and steadiness to every session. Outside of work, I love reading, baking, cooking, and hiking.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence-based and human at the same time. We'll listen, ask questions, and translate the science into actionable steps that fit your life. We'll work together to build sustainable habits, honoring your priorities and respecting a weight-neutral approach that emphasizes health at every size. My approach is holistic, considering sleep, stress, relationships with food, and your daily routines, so you feel empowered to make informed choices long term.

Your first session with Heather

Our first appointment is about you. Think of it as a conversation, not an evaluation. We'll review your medical history, discuss your goals, and start mapping short-term steps. If you have lab results or biometrics, we'll review them together and see what they tell us. You do not need to have everything figured out yet. You will leave with a clear sense of next steps and the confidence that we will tackle this together.
