About Heather

Seeing a wide variety of clients, I noticed one common pitfall: getting caught in the extremes. With questionable nutrition advice coming from every person and direction possible, I help clients improve health and happiness by embracing the moderate middle in a world of nutrition extremes. If you: are sick of confusing, conflicting nutrition information, want FOOD to be a part of the conversation, and you're looking for a positive partner in your nutrition journey, I might just be the dietitian for you. I also teach nutrition at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This equips me to educate on nutrition foundations

Approach to care

The moderate middle of nutrition looks different for everyone. In our first session, we will explore what that means for you. Small actionable goals, recipe exploration, fostering a optimistic mindset, tracking your intake, or reducing barriers to change are all things we might decide to work on. Our sessions will be a combination of collaborative conversation as well as more formal nutrition education on topics as needed.

Your first session with Heather

We will get to know each other! After all, we're going to be working together as a team. We'll discuss in detail your health history and journey that has contributed to your relationship with food thus far. We'll collaborate and come up with an actionable plan and goals moving forward. I look forward to working with you!
